• The earpiece is held in place over and into the ear by a soft, medical-grade acoustic tube that wraps around behind any ear to fit firmly and comfortably.
• Earplugs (one pair included) fit over the end of the earpiece and go into the ear to provide hearing protection.
• Each earplug has a hole in the center to allow radio transmissions to pass through and be heard clearly.
• Cord running from earpiece to speaker microphone (sold separately) is coiled so it won’t interfere with head movement and includes a transducer that limits volume spikes to 85 dBA.
• Cord ends in plug for audio jack in speaker microphone and is available in three types: 3.5mm mono, 2.5mm mono, and 3.5mm threaded stereo.
• NRR 21 dBA when used with reusable earplugs.
• NRR 29 dBA when used with disposable foam earplugs.
