5-Stage Filtration

Fume-Air™ 230 Portable HEPA Filtered Welding Fume Extractor

The compact Fume-Air 230 effectively captures hexavalent chromium and harmful compounds caused by welding on stainless steel or painted surfaces.

  • Small size (24-1/2L x 16H x 12-3/4”W) allows for easy portability and ensures that the unit won’t get in the way during welding jobs in tight spaces.
  • Five-stage filtration includes a final stage HEPA filter (99.97% at 0.3 microns).
  • 5” fume capture hood with magnetic base stand.
  • Fire retardant 10’ flexible hose (2-1/2” ID) with hose coupler.
  • Features a stainless steel spark screen and removable slag tray.
  • Utilizes two 115VAC, 800 watt vacuum motors with 15 amp overload protector.
  • Ideal for welding in small confined spaces, equipment maintenance, remote location welding, repair of pipe, valves, and fittings, small welding jobs or any welding where material is exposed to employees and cannot be isolated from the general population.
